The Whole Process of Things is the latest album from Calgary based emcee Planit. Dusty hard hitting beats from producer The Dirty Sample provide the backdrop to Planit's gruff voice, along with a couple of bangers from Whatevski and Factor. With lyrics ranging from a lovely smutt filled sex rap reminiscent of Governor Bolts or Uncle Climax to contemplative and entertaining looks at life, The Whole Process of Things is a fairly detailed view of Planit's world. Switching up his flow to fit a pensive mood on one track and than coming aggressive as fuck on the next, Planit is not boring. He also has a rare ability to make some really catchy hooks and knows which tracks to put them on, turning good songs into live anthems. Planit raps hard, smart and experienced; and has made an album that should not be slept on.
