Where I'm from, you can anything and almost everything in a pawn shop, as far as electronics and accessories is concerned. You can find items that can be worth plenty of money, and you can find items that aren't worth much to anyone. It all depends on who brings in what to be sold by the pawn shop. However, within the pawn shop setting, you always will find that rare gem within the multitude of useful items. If this is the idea that Feenom Circle is trying to push, then they can be happy for themselves cause they succeeded...for the most part.

If there is anything that I can say about this album, is that there is a variety of topics that are covered. With "Frisco Disco", they make reference to the club scene, or the lack there of. From commenting on having "his only collar shirt, and dress codes are strict", to seeing a "cockblocker outside the club", they make references to a club scene that ends up being rather trite and nerve wrecking. On "A-Train", they make references to "run away, get away...the train". The "train" that they are referring to is the train and thought of living that has people struggling and living appallingly. "Masters Too" makes reference to perseverance through rhyme and living, making sure to "find direction within myself, helping those that help themselves".

To tell you the truth, the album isn't wack, by far. However, I wish the production would have fluctuated and captivated just a little bit more. Either that, or made their lyrics so dope that they demanded me to listen. The lyrics on the album were pretty good. They stated on beat, stayed on topic, and flipped different flows to different melodies. They approach the topics with a different perspective and flavor, and that is the most you can expect from artists these days.

Feenom Circle is a pretty good group and a pretty good album. However, in my eyes and to my ears, they just need a little more polishing and fine tuning. Once they take it to that next level, you will be hearing more from these guys.
